Who We Are
The Association of Detainees and Missing Persons in Southern Syria (ADMPSS) was established in 2014 by a group of independent media activists and human rights advocates from southern Syria, particularly survivors of detention.
ADMPSS aims to uncover the truth and achieve justice for detainees in southern Syria due to their political opinions or activities. Additionally, we document the crimes, violations, and arrests committed by all parties south of Syria’s conflict.
ADMPSS seeks to provide support to the families of victims and survivors of detention who have been subjected to violations, facilitate access to transitional justice, and amplify their voices.
ADMPSS takes upon itself the task of bringing the issues of detainees and violations in southern Syria to international and regional forums. ADMPSS opens its doors to all collaboration with effective legal and humanitarian entities and organizations at all local, regional, and international levels to advocate for the issues of detainees in Southern Syria.
